A Wild High-Res Shirtless Kylo Ren Appears and it’s Still Hilarious

We can now enjoy Adam Driver’s famous shirtless scene from The Last Jedi in high-res and it’s still outrageously funny. Maybe it’s all the memes that have tainted the original source or those ridiculous high waisted pants coupled with Driver’s bulging muscles and modestly shaped head. Either way, I’m still trying to figure out who saw this in post and didn’t have the foresight to see any of this coming.

You know that moment when you see something, snicker to yourself and say, “Wait until the internet gets a hold of this.” That was me during the shirtless scene while watching The Last Jedi at the movies. Now, I’m not saying that Adam Driver isn’t a beef cake but why did we really need to see it in such a way that was so out of context and quite frankly, absurdly hilarious?

According to an interview with the Huffington Post, co-sound supervisors Matthew Wood and Ren Klyce confirmed there’s a legitimate explanation for the shirtless Kylo Ren scene.

“That [shirtless scene] was important to establish what she [Rey] was actually seeing,” Klyce explained. “Was she hearing his voice or seeing his face or just his eyes? And so that is to inform the audience, ‘Oh, she can see his body.’”

Klyce went on to say that the scene was done in good humor. Well, that explains it. Kind of.

While the high-res image of shirtless Kylo Ren is great, here’s a few good Twitter folk that have managed to capture the true essence of Adam Driver’s shirtless scene.
