Airship Syndicate, the developers of the 90’s comic book turned RPG Battle Chasers: Nightwar, launched a patch for PS4 users that were dealing with an unusual and potentially game-breaking error. In patch V. 23114, Airship Syndicate president Ryan Stefanelli thanked all PS4 players for their patience and support in finding a fix for the fatal error.
In this update, the following issues have been patched for PS4 users;
- Reduced in-game crashes significantly
- Eliminate video issues like showing a pink screen or black screen instead of the cutscene
- Stop save files from corrupting
- All quality of life updates and changes that went live on PC were also added to the PS4 update as well
Airship Syndicate’s biggest concern in regards to save file corruption has been patched up, allowing players to get back to playing the game without the concern of corrupting their save file. However, the game crashing still is not 100% fixed, as Ryan Stefanelli noted in this update. The team is still working towards a full fix for this issue and will look to send same patch updates and changes to the Xbox One version of the game soon. We will continue to monitor any patch updates and changes as we hear more from Airship Syndicate in the coming days.
